Instructions after tooth extraction and other surgical interventions
The patient should follow these tips to avoid complications.
1. The tampon can be thrown out after 15-20 minutes!
2. You should not eat anything while the anesthesia lasts!
3. The wound must not be washed with anything!
4. You must not eat hot food on that day, everything you eat should be cooled to body temperature!
5. In the event that pain occurs after the anesthesia wears off, you should take a painkiller: BRUFEN, CAFETIN, KOFAN NIMULID..., and you must not drink medicines containing acetyl salicylic acid such as andol, midol, aspirin. .. because they cause bleeding.
6. In the case of major surgical interventions, as a prevention of swelling, apply COLD WRAPS, it is best to keep the kitchen towel in the freezer for 15-20 minutes, and then put it on the face in the place where the swelling is for 10 minutes, then take a break of 15-20 minutes (during this time, cool the cloth again) and put it on the face again.
6. If more extensive bleeding, swelling or severe pain occurs a day or two after tooth extraction, you should contact the dentist.
